Why Bother:  This math unit has a heavy dependency on specific Math Vocabulary it is essential that you are comfortable with the variety of words that will present itself throughout the unit.

Culminating Activity for Volume and Surface Area
-       In groups of 2/3/4 create a video 1-2 minute explaining and teaching how to solve for SA or V or a triangular based prism. 
-       Review the videos posted on the math blog (see how they created their video – what was good and what was bad)
-       Plan how you will create your own how to video
-       Attempt to include some of the imovie tricks and tips highlighted on a previous blog
-       Consider special effects, cloning, explosions, and green screen (lots of others)
-       Use of apps Lapse it, Blending, Ovegram
-       Filmic pro (HD widescreen and zoom filming)

Complementary Angles
Two Angles are Complementary if they add up to 90 degrees (a Right Angle).



Supplementary Angles
Two Angles are Supplementary if they add up to 180 degrees.
