Word Problems

Word Problems

We will be working in groups to solve these 2 word problems.

We will take our gym squads and divide each squad in 2 to make at total of 8 groups.

Using markers and chart paper start solving the problems.

Show all work / idea/ sketches / and final solutions.

Document the solution and creative process by taking a picture of your chart paper every 5 or 10 or 15 seconds.  You can experiment and use the LAPSE IT app.

The Problems

A Bag of Marbles can be shared equally amongst 3, 5, or 6 students with none left over.  What is the least number of Marbles that can be in the bag in order to do this?

Sam loves Basketball and can sink the ball in the net 65% of the time.  If he takes 30 shots how many baskets will he make
